Now this outfit had me feeling all types of sassy. You know, the type of sassy you feel when you're listening to Beyonce' and think you're her for a second! (mhmm, I knew you'd understand).
But all jokes aside, I am not a huge fan of a "trends only" filled closet. I am more of a "if you like it, find a way to wear it" kind of gal. But if you were to ask me what was a necessity in your closet for this year, hands down I would mention "off the shoulder" or "cold shoulder" tops and dresses.
They are timeless, have major versatility and come in many different variations for any body-type or occasion. You may have seen this trend all over during the summer months, but it can also be transitioned into fall by choosing how much skin is shown in the shoulder area or opting for a longer sleeved version.
During the summer months, I went for a sleek and minimal look that was also a bit more on the edgy side. Since my off the shoulder top has a wider/ flared shape, I created balance by pairing it with slim fit pants and statement patterned heels.
What do you think about this trend? Do you own an off the shoulder top or dress? If yes, tell me how you rocked it in the comments! I can't wait to hear!
